New IEHG NDTP Training Leads appointed
The IEHG and Professor Tim Lynch, in his role as Chief Academic Officer, have recently appointed two National Doctor Training and Planning Leads across their two level four hospitals. Dr Tomas Breslin has been newly appointed as NDTP lead for the Mater and Dr Shane O'Hanlon has been appointed as lead for SVUH. The NDTP Training Lead role is critical to two-way communication between NCHDs and the management structures in hospitals around the country, which benefits NCHDs and patients. In their roles as NDTP leads Dr Breslin and Dr O'Hanlon will work closely with Prof Lynch and the UCD office of Health Affairs on upcoming projects in the area of simulation training for staff.
