Minister for Health Visits IEHG’s Vaccination Centres

In July, the Minister for Health, Stephen Donnelly TD, visited vaccination centres around the country to meet staff and thank them for the incredible work they have undertaken in the roll-out of the national COVID-19 vaccination programme.

On 28 July he visited the Ireland East Hospital Group's vaccination centre in Kilanerin, Co. Wexford meeting IEHG Chief Director of Nursing & Midwifery Paul Gallagher, Clinical Lead Ann Coakley, Site Coordinator Aoife Kane, as well as the many students who work in the centre.

The Minister also visited vaccination centres in Enniscorthy (CWCW), Kilkenny (Gillin Hill) and Mullingar (Bloomfield House Hotel) which IEHG supports in collaboration with our CHO colleagues.

IEHG are extremely proud of the Group's vaccination success to date - over 1 million doses have been delivered across their area - and would like to thank all staff involved in making this possible.
