Welcome Address from our Head of School.
Dear Students,
I am very pleased to welcome you and wish you a happy, productive, creative and healthy new academic year on behalf of myself and all my colleagues at the School of Information and Communication Studies. As we are stepping out of the pandemic, I would encourage you to make the most out of what the UCD campus offers, including face to face lectures and tutorials, the wonderful UCD library, the many extra curricular activities, and student organised social events. The gym and swimming pool deserve a special mention! Keep in mind that education does not only take place in lecture theatres but in the broader university social and cultural environment.
As always, module coordinators, programme directors, the School manager and myself are all available to answer questions and offer any help needed.
