New Report - Enlarging the Space for European Philanthropy

The European Foundation Centre (EFC) and Donors and Foundations Network in Europe (DAFNE) have just published a report entitled Enlarging the Space for European Philanthropy. This jointly commissioned report was researched and written by Professor Oonagh Breen.

In the latest edition of the School’s SSRN working paper series we have contributions from a number of leading international scholars including Professors Harrington and Manji from Cardiff University on renewing ‘Cosmopolitan Kinship’, former Dean, Prof. Joe Mc Mahon with two papers on Brexit addressing Northern Ireland and trade and agriculture, while Tom Mohr’s piece on ‘Law and the Foundation of the State: 6th Dec 1922’ examines Ireland’s ‘independence day’ or lack thereof. There are also papers on mass harm litigation in Ireland, transnational employment rights disputes, the history of juries in 18th and 19th century Ireland, the doctrinal approach in international human rights scholarship and the Maamtrasna murder trial of Myles Joyce 1882.
