ERC BMoral Project Launch

The ERC Project "New Histories of British Moral Philosophy in the Eighteenth Century" (ERC CoG BMoral, 2025–2030) aims to fundamentally rethink existing narratives about eighteenth-century British moral philosophy and intends to revive women’s philosophical contributions to the moral debates during that period. The project is led by Ruth Boeker and hosted by the UCD School of Philosophy.

To mark the start of the project we are hosting a project launch on Thursday 23 October from 4:30pm onwards in the UCD School of Philosophy on the fifth floor of the Newman Building. We'll provide drinks and snacks and are also preparing a small poster exhibition with preliminary information about the project and some lesser known philosophers that the project will study.
