UCD Programme Monitoring & Review
UCD assures and enhances the quality of its academic programmmes through a range of monitoring and review mechanisms. The links below highlight explicit monitoring and review activities, as well as a number of resources and supports which inform monitoring and review exercises.
UCD Programme Management
UCD Programmes are governed and managed by Programme Deans, Programme Boards and Programme Offices. Programme Deans, who Chair the relevant Programme Board, oversee the operation of Programme Offices, which play a crucial role in the co-ordination of academic and support staff in relation to the management of UCD programmes. Programme Boards are responsible for overseeing and enhancing academic quality and the student learning experience for the programmes they are responsible for, as outlined in their Terms of Reference. Programme Offices are dedicated to supporting students throughout their programme of study, and UCD Student Advisers are also attached to every programme area.
At University-level, Programme Boards report to the University Programmes Board and the Programme Deans liaise with the Registrar and Deputy President.
