Printing using your Ucard
Your Ucard can be used for printing, scanning and photocopying services across campus.
You can top up your Ucard and use the funds in the account to pay for printing. Remember that the funds in your Ucard account will be primarily used for printing, so don't put too much on in one go - only what you think you will need! Please note that unused UCard funds cannot be reimbursed.

Using the Library
Your Ucard serves as your library card, and provides admission to all 5 UCD libraries.
Your Ucard is used to enter and exit the library, borrow books and borrow a laptop. You can also use your Ucard account balance to pay library fines.

UCD Sport and Fitness
Your Ucard is your key to enjoying services at UCD Sport and Fitness. Your Ucard is your gym membership swipe card, used to enter and exit the gym.
Gym access is granted only with a valid Ucard, so make sure to bring your Ucard on every visit.

Access to UCD Residences
For students living on-campus, your Ucard is your key to accessing your accomodation.
When checking in, you will receive your Ucard which has been programmed with the key to your building, apartment and room.

If you are having issues accessing your accomodation using your Ucard, please visit the Services desk in the UCD Village for assistance.
Please note that the Residence laundry service is operated by credit/debit card, and not by Ucard.
