For High School Students
An ideal environment for high school students to challenge themselves academically and build a college resume.
The Joint International Summer School consists of a 3-week intensive taught programme in July which includes design studio, seminars, lectures, field trips and a cultural programme.
Students will develop their knowledge of comparative health and nursing systems and their skills in research for nursing practice.
There are three customised programs:
- Student-Athlete program - four weeks; 6 US credits (10 ECTS) in three supported sports;
- Kinesiology / Exercise Science program - two weeks 3 / 6 US credits;
- Sports Management program - two weeks 3 / 6 credits.
This eight week for credit programme consists of coursework at UCD and a six-week internship placement at an Irish or multi-national company.
Scholars and graduate students from around the world come together to engage in wide-ranging discussion on interdisciplinary study of the USA.
UCD offers a range of facilities and support services for faculty-led study tours.
