Kay Tisdall is Professor of Childhood Policy and Programme Director of the MSc in Childhood Studies, at the University of Edinburgh. She has been part of collaborative research programmes on children and young people’s participation, including current work on international child protection with colleagues in Brazil, Canada, China and South Africa. She has developed interests in how to involve children and young people in research, including co-editing The Sage Handbook of Early Childhood Research. http://www.sps.ed.ac.uk/staff/social_policy/tisdall_kay
