Staff Photography Club

Welcome to the home of the UCD Staff Photography Club. The Club aims to provide a relaxed and welcoming setting for staff to learn more about photography, share their photos and develop their skills. Membership is open to any staff member with an interest in photography, regardless of skill level. You won't need a 'fancy' camera and we'll try as much as possible to tailor monthly challenges to camerphone users as well as SLR owners.

Visit the new Staff Photo Club website.

Staff Art Club

Following on from the success of the "Staff Art Club" pilot programme, Culture & Engagement are turbo-charging our ambitions and facilitating a series of lunchtime sketching sessions. Join colleagues from around the university for some relaxing sketching in a variety of locations around the campus.

Please note, this programme is currently paused (November 2021)

Staff & Postgraduate Tennis Club

UCD Staff & Postgraduate Tennis Club has, for many decades, organised a variety of lawn tennis activities year round for people working, researching and studying year round at University College Dublin, Ireland.

Club activities have been based at the five floodlit, all-weather tennis courts situated between the UCD Sports & Fitness Centre and Water Tower on the west side of UCD’s Belfield campus. The club has a friendly and informal atmosphere in which the social aspect of being able to meet with others from across such a large and diverse organisation is considered as important as the tennis itself. Members span a wide range of ages and playing ability. New members are always made welcome at our regular events which include a variety of competitions, coaching sessions and social tennis evenings.Members pay a nominal annual fee and in return enjoy free access to the courts and the changing facilities in the Sports Centre during the club's reserved court times. Most club activities, bar coaching, are free of any further charge. Membership operates on a fixed year basis from the beginning of April to the end of March. The year is split into two seasons: Summer (Apr - Sep) and Winter (Oct - Mar).
