HR Quality Review 2018

A Quality review is essentially a developmental process, is carried out in academic, administrative and service units on a 7-8 year cycle. UCD HR's last Quality Review was in 2011 and can be viewed on the Quality Office website. Quality reviews are mandated under national legislation and can be broken down into 4 broad stages.

Stage 1 - Self Assessment

unboxing

It's now time to show you this Self-Assessment-Report so you are invited to attend the second all-HR session on:

Thursday 22nd November

11:00 to 13:00

Room L.249, UCD Sutherland School of Law

This is a shorter event where we will ask for feedback and will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to Quality Review Process
  • Report Summary and Highlights
  • SOAR Analysis and Feedback
  • Stakeholder Feedback
  • Next Steps for Quality Review Process

The session will be followed by lunch in the ground floor Gardner Atrium.

Prior to the session, please check over the SAR and ensure that:

  • your own service area description. (E.g. Resourcing, Pensions, etc) is accurate - did we miss anything?
  • the analysis we did after the SOAR session is comprehensive and accurate - did we capture your thoughts accurately?
  • you have a chance to see and think about how you might respond to the user feedback - what would you recommend to address the user issues raised?

As feedback will likely be department specific, we would encourage you to sit near your own team on the day to allow for discussion.
