The VIBE project funded by Irish Aid has delivered an online Geographic Information Systems (GIS) module for development studies. This is a key output of this collaborative project, where the staff of the Faculty of International Studies (FIS) at the University of Hanoi and the School of Geography at UCD have worked together to tailor GIS teaching and learning to the FIS curriculum. 24 students successfully completed the pilot module in August-October 2018. The module will be officially offered as part of the HANU FIS undergraduate programme from March 2019. Congratulations to the team and to the students for their accomplishments.
