US and International Affairs Programme

  • Clinton Institute for American Studies was established at UCD in recognition of the contributions made by President Clinton and his administration to the Peace Process.
  • The Institute promotes teaching and research on US history, culture and politics and on transatlantic relations.
  • This programme will give you an International perspective on America.

Module details

America Abroad,  America and Globalization,  American Studies Seminar,  Ireland and the US, Ireland Uncovered,  Journalism: Reporting Conflict,  Public Diplomacy,  Transnational Narratives and US Foreign Policy.

The programme will include a number of social events during the course of the semester. You are encouraged to participate in the events programme of the Institute - research seminars, symposia and conferences - all of which can enrich the learning experience.
