Our East Asia regional team is predominantly based in the UCD Global Centre in Beijing.
Gavin serves as Director East Asia, leading UCD’s regional engagement and overseeing the UCD Global Centre in Beijing. He provides strategic direction across partnerships, TNE, government relations, recruitment, and alumni engagement. Under his leadership, the Centre drives UCD’s globalisation agenda, strengthens its international reputation, and builds enduring collaborations with academia, industry, and government.
Edar is UCD's Vice Director for East Asia and is responsible for the development of partnerships with institutions and organisations in East Asia. Based in the UCD Global Centre Beijing, Edar is the key contact for institutions, government, private sector and relevant organisations across the region.
Jie leads initiatives to strengthen UCD’s presence in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao, driving marketing and recruitment strategies to support the university’s growth across the region. She oversees efforts to enhance brand visibility, develop marketing and recruitment partnerships, and deliver targeted student recruitment campaigns.
Aaron, a Senior Partnership Officer at the UCD Global Centre in Beijing, collaborates with the Vice Director to advance the University’s strategic partnerships with organisations, industry, and communities. He develops and sustains partnership relationships, manages project implementation and promotes knowledge exchange to enhance academic and collaborative objectives.
Lily is responsible for providing a systematic customer service as part of UCD Global Centre (East Asia) Recruitment and Admissions team to ensure an effective and efficient service for both internal and external stakeholders.
Ruby oversees UCD’s admissions and recruitment activities across East and Central China. Responsible for driving student recruitment activities, building strong regional partnerships, and enhancing UCD’s visibility in the region. She plays a key role in supporting the university’s growth and strengthening its engagement with prospective students and educational stakeholders.
