Universitas 21 (U21) at UCD

Established in 1997, Universitas 21 (U21) is a premier global network dedicated to fostering collaboration and internationalization among its 30 world-leading, research-intensive member universities across six continents.

U21 drives its mission through activities structured around three core pillars: Educational Innovation, Research Engagement, and enhancing the Student Experience. This is supported by an annual calendar of in-person, blended, and virtual programmes designed for faculty, staff, and students.

University College Dublin (UCD)'s involvement with U21 significantly advances its institutional strategy by encouraging innovative practices, promoting teaching and learning inspired by research, and facilitating greater student and staff mobility. UCD has been a member since 2006.

UCD Staff are encouraged to join the Universitas 21 Space on (opens in a new window)Workvivo to receive updates on opportunities available through U21.
