UCD is recognised worldwide with international accreditations for UCD degrees from the world’s leading professional organisations in Veterinary Medicine, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Regional and Urban Planning, and Engineering. The Michael Smurfit Business School is one of a small number of business schools worldwide to hold triple international accreditation (US-AACSB, European-EQUIS and UK-AMBA). It is the only Irish business school consistently featured in global rankings over the last ten years.
Currently, UCD has 300,000 global alumni spread throughout 169 countries. This global alumni network provides a powerful connection between UCD and today’s globalised society. UCD also has a presence around the world through overseas programmes: UCD provides and accredits degree programmes in cooperation with partner institutions in China (such as Peking, Renmin and Fudan) as well as in Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. To further expand this global engagement, UCD has developed a network of Global Centres in North America, UAE, India, China and Malaysia; each of which provides a hub of research and education connections for students, faculty, alumni and partners.
