Expanding Agency: Women, Race, and the Global Dissemination of Modern Architecture
Whether through the establishment of commercial businesses, real estate development, journalism or other ventures, women involved in the global dissemination of architecture and design have often been overlooked. My project investigates the contributions of women and the ways in which their gender facilitated and/or hindered their engagement. As part of the project, I will co-organise an international conference on my topic, to be held in June 2024, and co-edit the resulting book. I will also contribute to the organisation of an exhibition that will tour architecture schools in 2026.
