Music is a universal form of expression, one that captures our imagination in countless ways. In UCD, we equip students with the skills necessary to understand a wide variety of musical practices across a number of levels. Our undergraduate degrees (BA and BMus) offer strong foundations in both practical and intellectual approaches to music. Our graduate taught and research-based programmes provide young scholars with the opportunity to examine a chosen topic in depth, working one-on-one with leading scholars in musicology and ethnomusicology.
