News Item Great Debate

The Higher Diploma in Mental Health Nursing class of 2024/2025 hosted the annual "Great Debate" event on Thursday 17th April. This event marks the final assessment of the programme and was a team and class effort. The full-day event comprised of a congress of five debate motions on a broad range of mental health topics.

This dynamic event showcased the exceptional skills and knowledge of our students as they passionately debated a variety of contemporary mental health topics. Their arguments highlighted not only their understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health but also their readiness to enter the nursing workforce as enthusiastic, well-informed, and evidence-based practitioners.
