Celebrating Athena Swan Bronze Renewal Award at UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems gathered together recently for a celebratory lunch to mark the renewal of its Athena Swan Bronze Award. This achievement recognises the School’s continued commitment to advancing gender equality, fostering an inclusive culture, and supporting staff and students throughout their academic journeys.

During the celebration, members of the Athena Swan Committee were acknowledged for their dedication, with special recognition given to Committee Chair, Professor Barbara Coughlan, who was presented with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of her leadership throughout her term as Chair.

The event was a warm and uplifting occasion, highlighting the collective efforts of staff from across the School.
