Engaging Communities to Promote Cervical Screening
This video showcases Sophie Mulcahy Symmons’s PhD research which aims to find solutions to promote cervical screening awareness by working with a group of women in inner city Dublin using an approach called co-design. The video explains what co-design is and what meaningful engagement looks like. The documentary interviews members of the co-design group on their experiences of being involved in the project. We hope this video can act as a resource for other researchers on the benefits of conducting co-design work and to the public on what co-design is and what to expect.
