Steps to Develop a Rubric
Before you create a rubric in Brightspace you need to complete the initial development of the rubric as follows:
- Decide what kind of rubric you want to create: analytic or holistic
- Identify criteria you want to assess
- Identify the number of standards/levels
- Develop descriptors
- Apply a scoring strategy
- Review and revise the rubric
