As part ofourConstruct Innovate project“Leveraging the Role of PP Fibres in Maximizing Adoption of3DConcretePrintingTechnology in the Irish Construction Industry,”ourresearch team (Dr. Mehran Khan, Dr. Ciaran McNally, and Dr. Wen Si ) at UCD has been rigorously testing polypropylene (PP) fibre-reinforced mixes usingouradvanced lab-scale facilities. These mixes were then further evaluated through trialprintingin industrial R&D facilities.
In collaboration with Harcourt Technologies Ltd, this project supports Ireland’s transition toward digitalised and sustainable construction.
