Study With Us

Earth scientists use tools from physics, chemistry, and biology along with geology, geography and environmental science to build an understanding of how the Earth works, and how it evolved to its current state. This science changes rapidly in scope and nature and our BSc and MSc programmes reflect these changes along with the needs of society and industry, providing graduates who are internationally highly regarded. Postgraduate research in the School covers a broad spectrum of specialities, as can be seen in our Research Groups, with a seamless transition between pure and applied research.
