Join us on 26 November for a One Health webinar, organised by the European Public Health Alliance and Una Europa. 

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a growing threat to global health, food safety, and sustainable agriculture. This webinar brings together leading international experts to discuss how science, policy, and coordinated action can help mitigate AMR across the food production chain.
Speakers will explore global and European initiatives, scientific evidence, and practical tools to promote responsible use of antimicrobials in animals and food systems.

4 December

Open to students, staff, academics and anyone with an interest in community engagement.

Over the past eight weeks, students from the 11 Una Europa partner universities have been working in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams on developing a solution for a global challenge affecting their local communities.

On Thursday, 4 December, from 14:00-16:00 (Irish time), they will pitch their solutions in front of their peers and an expert jury, for a chance to receive funding to test their solution in a local community of their choice.

Only open to undergraduate students of European Studies; priority given to students at Stage 2 or 3; permission from your Programme Board must be sought  

Hosted by Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in Spain, this Una Europa Winter School provides a dynamic and reflective space to explore crucial issues concerning the challenges facing Europe in the field of security. Through a five-day intensive problem-solving exercise and with a multidisciplinary approach, the programme aims to raise awareness and promote dialogue on global challenges.

Up to two UCD students will be supported in taking part.
