Internships

The 3-month internship during the summer trimester is the capstone learning experience for the course, allowing students to put their learning into practice within a space company, research team or at a space agency establishment.

Many programmes have deadlines as early as October for internships the following summer, so planning for applications at the beginning of the academic year is important. The process starts early in the first trimester, with support provided in CV preparation, cover letter writing and mock interviews if needed.

Some programmes have eligibility requirements. For example, European Space Agency (ESA) internships are only open to citizens of ESA member states and associated countries.

You can read about some previous internships on the testimonials page.
