The opening date for accommodation applications for 2024/25 existing/continuing students are now open. You can make a booking application regardless of whether you have lived in UCD Residences before. Prices for accommodation for 2024/25 are yet to be confirmed, but may be subject to a possible 2% increase on the current prices for 2023/24. All applications will be randomised on March 19th 2024, and rooms will be offered according to your position on this waitlist. Please note that while you can still apply after March 19th, you will be placed at the back of the waitlist and this may reduce your chances of getting offered a room in UCD Residences.

You will receive an email advising you have been allocated a room which will contain the allocated village, room number and room type.
You can accept your offer by logging into the UCD Residences Portal and paying your booking deposit. You will receive a confirmation email once the deposit payment has been received.

The expiry time and date of your offer will be indicated in the offer email you receive from UCD Residences. If you have not made the deposit payment by the specified time and date, your room offer will be rescinded and the available room will be offered to another student.
You can pay your booking deposit via your UCD Residences Portal. This payment can be made with debit/credit card.
Due to GDPR legislation, it will no longer be possible for you to view your roommates before you arrive to UCD Residences.
UCD campus accommodation residents in Belfield are not eligible to purchase a campus parking permit. This is to ensure the limited number of parking spaces are available to students and staff not living on campus and who must travel to and from campus daily. If required, residents or their guests can avail of temporary pay and display parking charged at the rate of €1 per hour, 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. UCD has extensive public transport links including at 24 hour bus service and covered, secured cycle parking and an on campus bike shop.
