Arriving in UCD FAQs - Updated (25/08/23)

You will be given your keys and/or access card when you check in. Your student UCARD will be programmed with access for your accommodation. In some locations you may also have physical keys for your accommodation.

UCD Residences provides:

  • Duvet, pillow, mattress protector
  • Bedrooms are equipped with bed, desk, lamp and wardrobe
  • Furnished kitchens are equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and four-ring hob

You should bring:

  • Pots, pans crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils
  • Linen such as bed sheets, duvet cover, pillow case, towels

[Note: Roebuck Castle Catered, Ashfield and the Village Residences have induction hobs therefore induction pots are required]

After you check in all residents will be emailed and asked to complete an inventory survey to register the condition of their accommodation. This is to alert us if anything is missing from your accommodation and to prevent any deposit deductions for marks on walls etc. The survey must be completed within 14 days of your arrival.
