Making SBBS a better place to work

SBBS is applying for a Silver Award under the  (opens in a new window)Athena Swan Charter,  a framework which is used across the globe to support and transform gender equality and wider equality measures within higher education and research. SBBS will be holding staff and student focus groups on Monday February 12th. These are an integral part of the Athena Swan Award process. These focus groups will be confidential and administered by external administrators. This will be an excellent opportunity for staff and students to provide honest, anonymous feedback about their working and learning experience, which SBBS can factor into our 2024-2028 Gender Equality Action Plan, helping make our school a supportive environment for all community members.
Staff focus groups will be held Monday February 12th from 10am-12pm in Science East E2.14 in Science East. Coffee, tea and pastries will be provided. Student focus groups will be held from 11am-1pm in Science Hub H0.22 on Monday February 12th. A catered lunch will be provided. SBBS greatly appreciates your support and feedback in making this a better school for everyone.
