Highlights:

A National SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Wastewater Surveillance Programme, that has been developed by a specialist team, with input from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC), HSE, HIU, the National Virus Reference Laboratory (NVRL), UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science, and Irish Water, will begin in early May. Launch of National SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Wastewater Surveillance Programme in Ireland

The CRYSTAL3 consortium includes 10 partners (5 academic and 5 industry) located in 7 countries and will be led by Conway Fellow, Professor Breandán Kennedy.  UCD-led consortium secures EU funding to investigate disrupted signalling across a range of diseases
