In autumn 2020 we are delivering our modules through a wide range of formats: some are face-to-face, some are a hybrid of face-to-face and online, and some are online only. Some modules are offering a choice between face-to-face and online sessions for tutorial classes, and all modules will be able to facilitate students who cannot attend campus for COVID or other health-related reasons.
For detailed information on how each module will be delivered, you should check the module descriptor. The easiest way to find the module descriptors for your programme is to click on the link to your programme below, and then click on the button marked “View All Modules”. This will expand to show a list of all modules on your programme.

A grant of €300 is available to support an undergraduate student planning to visit Classical sites in Greece or Italy in 2020. The money was generously donated by a former student.
Any student who would like to apply for the grant should send a brief account of the proposed travel to Prof. Michael Lloyd, UCD School of Classics (email@example.com) by 31st March 2020.
The award will be made on the basis of the quality of the proposal, which should include the applicant’s reasons for visiting the proposed sites. If two or more applications are of equal merit, then the award will be made to the applicant with the highest current GPA.
