On Friday 29th October , Dr Werner Hoyer President of the European Investment Bank visited UCD to formally announce a €350m loan facility to support a number of key capital development projects on campus including the gateway development and the renovation of the Newman Building where the School of Economics is located. He visited the School and talked to our post-graduate students about the role of the EIB followed by a lively Question and Answer session.
