Opportunities at UCD for International Students

As part of UCD’s role as Ireland’s global university, our School provides significant opportunities for students from around the world to come to UCD to study Economics.

Undergraduate

There are a number of ways for international students to do part of their undergraduate study at UCD. 

  • Erasmus and International Exchanges: UCD School of Economics has Erasmus exchange agreements with Namur, Tilburg, Utrecht, Mannheim, Montpellier, Bologna and Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza".  UCD has also exchange agreements with universities from around the world.  See here for a list of universities which can send students to UCD to study Economics.
  • Occasional Fee-Paying Student: If you are studying at a European Union Institution which doesn't have an Erasmus agreement with UCD, you can apply to study as an Occasional Fee-Paying student.
  • Study Abroad Programme: Non-EU students can register for UCD’s Study Abroad programme for either a semester of a full year.

Graduate

Opportunities to Study Abroad for UCD Students

UCD Economics provides significant opportunities for our students to study abroad as part of their degree. We have exchange agreements with over 50 universities around the world, via Erasmus and other exchange programmes. This means it is possible for you to study in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. Information on studying abroad is available here.
