Dr. Seán Paul Teeling is Awarded a Teaching Excellence Award

We want to extend congratulations on behalf of the School to Dr. Seán Paul Teeling who has been recognised at the University level with a Teaching Excellence Award. 

The award scheme allows the UCD community to nominate colleagues engaged directly in teaching for an award. Between November 2021 and the end of August 2022, over three thousand nominations were received from students, faculty, and staff. Nominees were invited to apply for a College level award and following a competitive process 87 applicants were successful. A further competition led to 12 awardees being honoured with a University level award, of which Dr. Teeling was selected.  

The Teaching Excellence Award recognises individual faculty and staff in teaching roles for sustained commitment to teaching excellence and student learning. We also want to extend our congratulations to the fellow recipients of this award.
