The European Pain Federation EFIC announce a new awaed in memory of Prof. Laserina O'Connor

The European Pain Federation (EFIC) announced a new award in memory of Prof. Laserina O'Connor for the highest scoring participant in the Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Nursing. The UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems were delighted to see this recognition of our colleague who sadly passed away in April 2022. Laserina's lasting influence on the pain nursing discipline has affected many of her students and patients alike. It was with great pleasure that we saw EFIC recognise the contribution Laserina has made through the announcement of this award.
