Discover Science at UCD TY Events

The Discover Science at UCD programme includes a series of on-campus events and webinars, held throughout the secondary school year. It is an opportunity to attend talks on the latest research and meet with academics and current students. Events will be added to the calendar as they are confirmed.

The programme is aimed at Transition Year students.  Some events can be booked by students and other events can be booked by teachers for a class.

This event is an excellent opportunity for secondary-school students and teachers to explore what Physics is really about. Throughout the morning, research-active members of the UCD School of Physics will deliver short, engaging “dazzle with wonder” talks showcasing some of the latest developments in a variety of physics topics.
