UCD MSc Applied Environmental Science CIEEM Accredited
The UCD MSc in Applied Environmental Science is the first on the island of Ireland to beapproved as an Accredited Degree Programme of the (opens in a new window)Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
"This is a very exciting development for our Master’s programme. Accreditation will enable our students to avail of the many benefits offered by CIEEM including membership for a year post graduation and access to information on environmental policy, events, and professional development opportunities," explains Associate Professor Tancredi Caruso, Programme Director.
The taught MSc programme is offered by the UCD School of Biology and Environmental Science and has been running for 44 yearspreparing students to become the next generation of professionals in the field of environmental sciences.

The placement module, in particular, was noted as a major asset in enhancing students’ professional skills and employability.
