Thesis Summary:
This PhD research examines the use of Indoglish, a blend of Indonesian and English, among young Indonesian speakers. Using ethnographic approaches and interviews, the study explores how Indoglish is used and how it relates to identity construction and language ideology across communicative contexts. The research contributes to sociolinguistics, Global Englishes, and English language education in the Indonesian context.
