UCD Tennis Make History with Double Class 1 Titles in DLTC Floodlit League
UCD Tennis achieved an outstanding double victory this week, winning both the Men’s and Women’s Dublin Lawn Tennis Council (DLTC) Floodlit League Class 1 titles.
The Men’s team claimed the Class 1 championship for the first time ever in Floodlit League history, an exceptional milestone for the club. This also marks the first time since 1989 that UCD have secured a Class 1 title in any Men’s DLTC League competition.
The Women’s team continued their dominant run by securing the Class 1 title for the third consecutive year, reinforcing their position at the top of the league.
This remarkable achievement also represents the first time since 2005 that one club has won both the Men’s and Women’s Class 1 titles in the same Floodlit League season, an incredible testament to the strength, depth and commitment of UCD Tennis.
