Scholarships

The pursuit of excellence is part of the mission of UCD.

Sport scholarship programmes are for students who wish to compete and succeed at the highest sporting levels while simultaneously attaining a degree at UCD.  Applications are made entirely online [paper or email applications are not accepted] and links to apply will appear as per the opening and closing dates outlined for 24/25 below. Late applications are not accepted under any circumstances.

The UCD Sport Scholarship programme is independent of the Ad Astra Elite Athlete Programme with the exception of the unsuccessful applications for Ad Astra being transferred to the UCD Sport Scholarship applications upon the consent of such applicants. This can be done by ticking a box on your Ad Astra application to allow the transfer if you are unsuccessful. Two separate applications will not be required in this case.
