Skills for Working Life

Skills for Working Life is an 11 week programme of employer-led, interactive, skills-based workshops spread over Trimesters 1 and 2.

Skills for Working Life (Part 1) takes place from October 11th to 13th comprising three online sessions, and Skills for Working Life (Part 2) takes place in Trimester 2 with eight sessions running from February to April. The programme will cover issues such as commercial awareness, case studies, inclusivity, problem solving, and design thinking. It’s a great opportunity to hone your employability skills while also networking with some of Ireland’s top graduate employers.

Previous participating organisations include Glanbia, RTE, Qualtrics, Citi and KPMG; this year we’re kicking off with EY, Accenture, and First Derivatives on October 11th / 12th / 13th, with sessions running from 17:00-19:00.

Those who complete 7 out of the 11 sessions will receive a Skills for Working Life Certificate

You can also use participation in the Skills for Working Life programme in your application for the UCD Advantage Award.
