UCD Sutherland Opportunity supported by Mason Hayes & Curran
UCD Sutherland Opportunity supported by Mason Hayes & Curran seeks to help students who face significant economic and societal barriers to participate in transformative educational opportunities, graduate from UCD Sutherland School of Law and progress along a fulfilling career path that will change the trajectory of their lives and contribute to greater diversity in the legal profession and other careers in law.
Introduction
UCD Sutherland School of Law and the wider university is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming and diverse learning environment for all and ensuring we both meet and exceed our obligations under current legislation, by doing more than what is required by law. The School is also committed to the global partnerships that provide opportunities for the exchange of diverse ideas and freedom of academic thinking.
To that end, UCD Sutherland Opportunity supported by Mason Hayes & Curran has been developed as a set of measures and supports for students, who experience barriers to education to gain access to the School, and also to ensure that, while there, they receive all the necessary guidance to retain their place and participate fully in college life that will transform their education, career and life outcome.
We want to thank our founding donor, (opens in a new window)Mason Hayes & Curran, for their generosity and vision together with the many alumni of the School who support and engage with this flagship student support initiative.
