About the speaker: Vivien Fabry is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the Free University of Berlin, where they examine the intersection of political representation and computational methods. Their research centres on how under-represented groups are portrayed and engaged in formal political processes, with a particular focus on people with disabilities. In their research, Vivien applies mixed methods, including quantitative text analysis and qualitative interviews with parliamentarians to uncover patterns of representation and emotional expression in parliaments.
