Healthy Eating Week 2021


Healthy Eating Week is back and will be taking place from the 8th-12th of November.

Our aim for this year is to help UCD students and staff return to campus life in a healthy and sustainable manner

The major themes for this years’ event include

  1. Nutrition on a budget,
  2. Practical cooking skills,
  3. Food sustainability,
  4. Back to life, back to reality

Each day will involve a mixture of social media content and virtual events such as Instagram live cook-along demonstrations, as well as in person events taking place across campus.

Pi Restaurant will be offering two Healthy Eating Hot dishes every week for lunch, and for breakfast a Healthy Eating breakfast bar will be available offering a range of options with a selection of toppings.


More events will be announced over the coming weeks. Be sure to check out Healthy UCD’s social media accounts (@healthyucd on Instagram and Twitter) for the full schedule for the week.

There will be competitions run throughout the week and those who take part will have the chance to win some great prizes! Some of the events that will be taking place on campus include ‘guess the price’, ‘taste-test’ and ‘too hot to handle’- a chilli eating contest! Come down to our stands for the chance to win some free snacks as well as being entered into the big competition draw!
