UCD Staff Tai Chi Club
Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art that aims to connect both mind and body. It can be a great way to de-stress after a busy day and practice mindfulness techniques also.
After very successful taster courses of Tai Chi in UCD, Healthy UCD and Culture and Engagement HR were delighted to announce the establishment of the UCD Staff Tai Chi Club in 2017. The club meets every:
Semesters 1 and 2 (September-May)
Tuesday evening from 5.30-7:00pm in Hall B, UCD Sports Centre
Wednesday lunchtimes from 1:00-2:00pm in Studio 4, UCD Sports Centre - more suited to beginners
Semester 3 (June-August)
Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 pm in Studio 4, UCD Sports Centre
No previous experience of Tai Chi is required and everyone is welcome. Please contact Alan Peatfield or Hamish Fleming for further details.
