General Information

UCD Library provides headsets that current UCD students and staff can borrow and return at the Service Desk in the James Joyce Library.

You are responsible for equipment you borrow.

• Please treat equipment with care.
• If any equipment is stolen or damaged while it is checked out to you, you are responsible.
• Do not leave equipment unattended at any time.
• Equipment is not transferable so please do not share equipment with anyone.
• Equipment is for library use only and must not be removed from the James Joyce Library.
• All equipment must be returned by the user who checked it out.

If any issues arise while you are using equipment, please bring it to the attention of library staff immediately by contacting a member of staff or emailing us at libraryinfo@ucd.ie. 

Terms and Conditions

Borrowing

• A valid UCD UCard is required.
• Equipment must be reserved online and can be checked out during information desk hours.
• All items have a limited borrowing period so they may be available to others. Failure to return equipment in a timely manner may result in a suspension of borrowing privileges.
• Users may borrow only one headset at a time.
• Equipment is for library use only and must not be removed from the James Joyce Library.
• All items must be returned during Service Desk hours.

Renewals

Equipment cannot be renewed.

Fees

Equipment is currently free to borrow.
