Visit from Penn State University Students and Staff
Following a COVID pause, the UCD Centre for Disability Studies was delighted to welcome back our friends from Penn State University. Associate Professor Katie Kostohryz and Associate Professor Pia Smal from the Educational Psychology, Counseling, and Special Education Department were joined by students attending a range of disability-related programmes. The group discussed their interests in disability and heard about research currently being undertaken at the Centre, took a walkabout the Aidan P. Moran Laboratories in the UCD School of Psychology, and finished with a trip to the UCD Club for some well-earned refreshments. We wish our Penn State friends safe travels for the remainder of their trip to Ireland and look forward to welcoming them back in 2023.
