Appointment to Chair IASSIDD Special Interest Group
Dr Christine Linehan, Director of the UCD Centre for Disability Studies, has been appointed Chair of one of IASSIDD’s Special Interest Research Groups (SIRGs). The Comparative Policy and Practice SIRG now comprises: Dr Christine Linehan as Chair; Prof Chris Bigby as Vice Chair; Prof Michael Brown as Past Chair; Prof Julie Beadle-Brown as Membership Liaison; Prof Jan Šiška and Dr Šárka Káňová as Social Media/Website Representatives; Prof Chris Bigby as Associate Editor for Journal of Policy and Practice in Intellectual Disability; with ordinary members Geraldine Boland, Dr Femmianne Bredewold, Dr Masauso Chirwa, Prof Sudesh Mukhopadhyay, Dr Mary-Ann O’Donovan, Dr Flavia Santos and Prof Jan Tossebro.
