Supporting the Changing Needs of Students

Project Objective

Project Objective

This discovery project is focused on understanding and addressing the needs of a growing proportion of students whose requirements are not currently catered to by existing University processes, policies, and systems. This project was established in part due to the number of similar project proposals which surfaced from different areas across UCD, namely Access & Lifelong Learning (ALL), China Joint Colleges and Registry.

Through an in-depth collaboration with staff who support these students, we aim to identify common challenges and to develop a comprehensive, tailored plan for uplifting and enhancing their journey through UCD. This project is firmly rooted in POST's people-focus, drawing on the insights and expertise of those closest to these student cohorts to develop a targeted programme of work, identifying commonalities where possible and intentional variation where necessary.

Project Benefits

Project Team

This project will be driven by a cross-functional team comprising representatives from units and teams across UCD. Key stakeholders include Registry, Access & Lifelong Learning, Global Campus, Human Capital Initiative and China Joint Colleges. This effort is coordinated as part of the larger UCD POST portfolio with dedicated project management support to ensure its strategic alignment and success.
