Juliette Mora - CRM Business Lead

Tell us about yourself?

My name is Juliette Mora. I have worked in UCD for just over seven years, mostly in UCD Global where I have held multiple roles in the areas of International Student Recruitment and Admissions, before starting on the CRM project team. Through my previous roles as International Student Conversion Manager and Recruitment Officer (Systems & Operations), I have been involved in enhancements to the current UniShare Recruitment CRM with EAG, developed data-driven student conversion strategies, but have also been involved in the application review process, a variety of recruitment activities, the implementation of best practices for leveraging the UniShare CRM within UCD Global, as well as the implementation of Tableau as the reporting tool used for recruitment analytics.

I have a keen interest in new technologies and how they can be used to streamline and enhance what we do whilst providing the best service to our staff, students and other stakeholders, and I believe the new CRM system we are implementing will help us achieve this.

What project are you working on? Tell us a little bit about it?

I am part of the CRM project team, which has been assembled to implement Salesforce, the new platform through which UCD will manage recruitment and admissions activities and processes.  With this new solution, we are aiming to provide the best experience to all prospective students and staff, and we hope to 'roll' this solution out to other areas in UCD, such as partnerships and alumni engagement. For the first segment of the  project, we are working on the development of the Admissions and Recruitment capabilities of the  system.

What is your role on the project? What element are you working on?

As one of the business leads on the project, I am looking after the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing strands. My experience in UCD Global has involved both Admissions and Recruitment, which has helped identify the key functionalities required. In addition, we have also gathered requirements from key University stakeholders, liaising with our implementation partner to further refine those from a Salesforce perspective.  I also work in close collaboration with my fellow business leads (Michelle Matthews and Martin Hurley) to ensure we have considered all aspects of admissions and recruitment activities. We will soon be starting the actual development of those requirements on Salesforce and be able to test those, which I am very excited about!

What do you enjoy most about working on this project?

As I mentioned, I have always been interested in new technologies, and having been responsible for some InfoHub enhancements while in UCD Global, I am looking forward to seeing what can be achieved through cutting-edge software like Salesforce. Working within this team is also very enjoyable, and as we have very different profiles and experiences, I am learning a lot on a daily basis, which is very important to me.
